How To Reserve a Puppy

Where Golden Hearts Begin

How To Reserve a Puppy

Bringing a Golden Retriever into your life is meaningful, and the process should feel just as thoughtful as the outcome.

Step One: Submit an Application

The first step is completing an application so we can learn more about you, your experience with dogs, and the environment your future puppy will be joining.

Submitting an application begins the conversation but does not reserve a puppy.

Step Two: Approval and Commitment Deposit

Once approved, a $100 non-refundable commitment deposit confirms your place on the list for a future litter.

When a litter is born, an additional $200 non-refundable deposit is due. Deposits are applied toward the total puppy price.

Investment

LMU Goldens puppies are placed with limited AKC registration at $2,000.

Full registration may be considered on an individual basis with an additional fee.

What Is Included

Each puppy goes home with AKC registration papers, veterinary records, deworming and vaccination information, a Fi Nano ID microchip, 30 days of AKC Pet Insurance, 30 days of Trupanion, starter food, comfort items, and lifetime breeder support.

Each item is chosen with care to support both puppy and family as life together begins.

Puppy Selection and Go-Home

Puppy selection takes place at 6 weeks old. We have found that allowing families to meet the puppies in person creates the most natural and meaningful connection.

When the time comes, your puppy will be ready to transition from our home to yours with guidance and support.
